As you walk up the steps to the visitor center, you will see the entrance to a small museum with artifacts from the Mocamas, their ancestors, and also the French. We encourage you to visit this museum after we have taken you through the Mocama world. The museum is over twenty years old and reproduces outdated misinterpretations. Our project uses the most up-to-date research to correct these. Find a NPS ranger if you have any questions. They keep up with the latest research, too.
